🌍 Introduction

Join our European Digital Marketing team and help shape the future of Brother’s web and CMS capability across Europe. This role will lead the day-to-day ownership, governance and continuous improvement of our web estate, with a strong focus on our website CMS, PIM and localisation efficiencies. You will also be involved in SEO, compliance, analytics and digital best practice. Working closely with European markets, Product Marketing, Ecommerce, Commercial teams, OneIT and development partners, you will play a key role in delivering scalable, high-quality web experiences that support customer needs and business growth.

🌀 About the Role

As Web / CMS Lead, you will be the subject matter expert and marketing operational lead for Brother Europe’s CMS and web platforms. You will guide European teams on how to use the CMS effectively, support the delivery of new features and improvements, and ensure our web estate is well governed, consistent, accessible and optimised for performance. You will:

  • Lead the operational delivery and continuous improvement of Brother Europe’s CMS and web estate working closely with OneIT Product Owner
  • Own and prioritise the CMS backlog in collaboration with OneIT, developers, Product Owners and business stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements, leveraging BA resource when needed
  • Lead business UAT and regression for BAU changes, enhancements and project work.
  • Own documentation and training to ensure the business are enabled to proficiently use the CMS
  • Act as the key point of contact for CMS governance, page build standards, localisation, publishing processes and web best practice.
  • Support European markets with CMS troubleshooting, training, onboarding and adoption of new features.
  • Champion UX, SEO, accessibility, analytics and performance best practice across web content and digital journeys.
  • Identify opportunities to improve CMS efficiency, content quality, customer experience and conversion performance.
  • Driving CMS innovation and opportunities with AI and agentic workflows in collaboration with OneIT

📌 Role Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, prioritisation and delivery of CMS and web improvement activity across European markets.
  • Work with internal teams, OneIT, external partners and developers to define scope, requirements, documentation and rollout plans.
  • Manage and maintain the CMS backlog, ensuring priorities are aligned to business goals, customer experience improvements and operational efficiency - providing clear ROI on new features.
  • Review project deliverables, CMS changes and new functionality to ensure quality, consistency, usability and alignment with agreed requirements.
  • Manage UAT activity, coordinate sign-off and support release planning for CMS enhancements, bug fixes and wider digital projects.
  • Own CMS governance standards, including page structure, component usage, naming conventions, publishing processes, localisation approach and content quality checks.
  • Provide expert support, training and guidance to local offices and European teams on Sitecore, Content Hub, CMS workflows and web best practice.
  • Partner with UX, SEO, analytics, Product Marketing, Ecommerce and Commercial teams to improve key journeys, content performance, engagement and conversion.
  • Monitor web and CMS performance, using insight from analytics, user feedback, site health checks and market feedback to identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the rollout of new content, features, templates, components and platform improvements across multiple European territories.
  • Act as an escalation point for CMS issues, coordinating troubleshooting and resolution with relevant technical and business teams.
  • Promote digital best practice, governance and continuous improvement across the wider Marketing Communications function.

👤 About You

Essential skills:

  • CMS Expertise: Hands-on experience with Sitecore or similar CMS platforms.
  • Communication skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects from concept to delivery, with excellent attention to detail
  • Collaboration: Strong communication skills to work with cross-functional teams across regions.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and train others on CMS issues.
  • Languages: English fluency required; additional European languages a plus.
  • Demonstrate initiative and enthusiasm and the ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • Good general computer skills – Microsoft Office.

Desirable skills:

  • A degree or relevant qualification in a digital marketing / related subject
  • Technical Understanding: Familiarity with development processes, UAT, and backlog management.
  • Content & UX: Knowledge of UX, UI & SEO principles and best practices
  • Awareness of tech stacks and development standards - HTML, CSS, .net
  • Awareness of analytics and SEO tools (GA, search console etc)
  • Experience of task management tools such as JIRA
  • Knowledge or scrum or agile methodologies
  • Experience of CRM platforms
  • AI Automation
