Quality Engineer
Job Title: QA Engineer (Remote – UK)

About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive QA Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products by designing and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases
- Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to understand requirements
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing
- Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
- Ensure software meets quality standards before release
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and methodologies
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 2–5 years of experience in software testing/QA
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and STLC processes
- Experience with manual testing and test case creation
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla)
- Understanding of API testing (Postman/REST APIs)
- Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner)
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ISTQB certification is a plus
