IT & Facilities Co-ordinator

My client is a well established, award winning consultancy business with over 100 staff based in Manchester City Centre. Based in premium offices they are looking for a candidate to join the team in a key support role as an IT & Facilities Co-ordinator.

Reporting to the IT Manager, you will have a varied role where no day is like the other. Duties will include, but not be limited to:-

  • Provide first-line IT support to staff, escalating issues where necessary to the IT Manager or outsourced support
  • Set up and maintain hardware, software, and user accounts
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes (equipment, access, etc.)
  • Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies
  • Liaise with external IT and facilities service providers
  • Support health & safety compliance and building maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of assets and service requests
  • Assist with office moves, desk setups, and meeting room tech
  • General administration duties

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and:-

  • Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
  • Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting developed in a work setting
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and adept in adopting new systems and platforms
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
