IT & Facilities Co-ordinator
My client is a well established, award winning consultancy business with over 100 staff based in Manchester City Centre. Based in premium offices they are looking for a candidate to join the team in a key support role as an IT & Facilities Co-ordinator.
Reporting to the IT Manager, you will have a varied role where no day is like the other. Duties will include, but not be limited to:-
- Provide first-line IT support to staff, escalating issues where necessary to the IT Manager or outsourced support
- Set up and maintain hardware, software, and user accounts
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes (equipment, access, etc.)
- Monitor and maintain office equipment and supplies
- Liaise with external IT and facilities service providers
- Support health & safety compliance and building maintenance tasks
- Maintain accurate records of assets and service requests
- Assist with office moves, desk setups, and meeting room tech
- General administration duties
The successful candidate will have a minimum of 12 months experience in a similar role and:-
- Minimum of 5 GCSEs including Maths & English
- Solid understanding of IT systems, networks, and troubleshooting developed in a work setting
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and adept in adopting new systems and platforms
- Willingness to learn and take initiative
