Director of Data Services

A leading UK based investment manager require an individual to lead their Data and Analytics practice on a permanent basis. The role will focus on managing a team of engineers, analysts and transformation professionals to implement a new data strategy across the business, working with the change team, technology and the data office.

Requirements:

• extensive investment management experience, leading data functions through complex change
• ability to manage both onshore and offshore resources
• an excellent understanding of the latest buy-side data practices and be able to implement innovative solutions
• win and gain influence over stakeholders across the front and middle office
• experience implementing AI, machine learning and data science strategies in asset management
• a desire to build teams, set standards and lead people
