Reporting to the Managing Director and working closely with Projects, Marketing and Account Management teams, the successful candidate will use data from a variety of internal reporting tools to validate campaign results, produce Excel and PowerPoint reports, and respond credibly to follow-up questions from internal teams and clients. The successful candidate will also be comfortable communicating with clients when needed and be looking to develop into a more senior role in the future.
We are looking for an ambitious and analytical graduate with previous experience in reporting, data management, business intelligence support or similar with excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills.
This is a hybrid role (2 days in and 3 from home) and is based in Bourne End.
Responsibilities
- Produce accurate, timely and well-presented client campaign reports, primarily in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Extract and review data from Power BI and relevant internal systems, checking completeness, consistency and accuracy before reporting.
- Report on live webinars, on-demand content, email, social and other campaign activity, as required.
- Analyse performance measures including registrations, attendance, on-demand views, engagement, viewing duration and campaign conversion.
- Analyse audience demographics including geography, job title, specialty and areas of interest, where available and appropriate.
- Create clear tables, charts, and supporting commentary (where required).
- Work to agreed reporting templates, deadlines and quality-control processes, maintaining consistent presentation and terminology.
- Answer internal and occasional client questions about reported results, explaining the data clearly and credibly.
- Maintain organised source data, calculations, report versions and approval records.
- Identify recurring reporting issues and recommend practical improvements to data quality, templates and workflows.
Skills and Experience
- Around 2+ years' experience in reporting, data management, business intelligence support or a comparable role.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to identify inconsistencies and interrogate results.
- Advanced working knowledge of Excel, including organising, checking and presenting data in clear charts and tables.
- Experience using Power BI reports or dashboards to retrieve, interrogate and interpret data.
- Good PowerPoint skills and the ability to turn data into a polished, concise client-facing report.
- Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, exact approach to quality control.
- Clear written and verbal communication, including the confidence to explain performance data to non-technical colleagues and clients.
- The ability to manage several reporting deadlines and prioritise work without compromising accuracy.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent. A numerical, analytical, agency or wider business background is desirable, although not essential.
Please note that we will only contact those candidates that we assess as suitable for the positions we have currently available based on their experience, training, and skills. If we do not have anything suitable, we will not keep your CV for more than 30 days.
