Internal Sales Executive

Our client, a fast-growing international company focused on the data centre industry based in Acton, West London, is recruiting for a bright, ambitious and dynamic Internal Sales Executive to support the UK Sales Director.

The successful candidate will be keen to develop their sales career in the future and have superb communication skills with the ability to understand complex technical concepts.

Hybrid role (2-3 days a week in the office).

£28k - £35k plus company bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Understand customer needs and align product offerings with their requirements.
  • Providing technical expertise and guidance to customers throughout the sales process.
  • Demonstrate the value of our solutions through online meetings and calls.
  • Collaborating with the sales and engineering teams to identify and qualify sales opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining strong customer relationships to increase customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Learn to contribute to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations
  • Understand our product/services technical features, functionalities and benefits.
  • Study customer needs, pain points, and business challenges and create customised sales proposals with the Country Sales Director.
  • Learn to conduct product demonstrations to showcase key features and functionalities.
  • Liaise with the engineering or technical team to address technical concerns or requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Operations team to gather technical requirements and ensure the successful delivery of the project.
  • Participate in sales meetings, trade shows and industry events to promote our products or services.

Skills and Experience

  • Be enthusiastic with the ability to digest, retain and recall detailed information.
  • Have a strong 'can do' attitude, a willingness to learn and grow within the company.
  • Experience in sales, CRM and Office applications.
  • A technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and propose innovative solutions.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Willingness to travel as required as you grow with the company.
  • An engineering qualification would be an advantage or the ability to demonstrate relevant experience.
