Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in London for an Android Developer. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing Android mobile applications in line with company standards and objectives. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring the performance and reliability of apps, troubleshooting issues, and keeping up-to-date with the latest Android development trends and tools to implement features that enhance user experience.
Qualifications
- Strong experience in Mobile Application Development and working on robust Mobile Applications
- Proficiency in Android Development and familiarity with Android Design best practices
- Native mobile development experience using Kotlin
- Hands-on experience with Jetpack Compose
- Experience with BLE stack on Android is a plus
- Solid background in Software Development, including writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams to optimize performance and resolve technical issues
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with satellite communication technologies is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
