Senior Data Analyst & BI 📍 Manchester | 4 days in office 💰 Up to £60,000 + bonus
A leading global financial services organisation are looking for a senior data analyst and BI to sit within an agile delivery team. You'll work closely with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight contributing directly to a major platform modernisation programme.
Senior Data Analyst & BI | Responsibilities
- Analyse and interpret complex internal datasets to surface insights
- Design, build, and maintain automated data pipelines, dashboards, and visualisations using modern BI and analytics tooling
- Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, and business stakeholders as an active member of an agile POD
- Ensure data quality and integrity by validating, reconciling, and troubleshooting data across multiple internal and external sources
- Apply an AI-first mindset to improve insight generation, data quality processes, and operational efficiency
- Communicate data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Senior Data Analyst & BI | Requirements
- Strong analytical capability with proven SQL skills and hands-on experience with at least one BI or visualisation tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Ability to build and maintain dashboards, reports, and automated data pipelines
- Solid understanding of data quality, validation, and data modelling fundamentals
- Clear communicator - comfortable presenting insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Agile delivery experience or a genuine interest in working in product-oriented team structures
