Data Engineering Manager - FinTech - £150,000 Base

Role: Data Engineering Manager

Salary: £140,000 - £150,000 base

Location: London - 4 days per week in office

Tech Stack: GCP/AWS - Kafka/Terraform

Line Management Responsibilities - Circa 12 w/some Staff Engineers to support

Reports into: VP Data

One of our most established Data clients are on the lookout for a Data Engineering Manager to join their ranks and lead their Data Platform and Data Engineering team. It is an established team with some exceptional data engineers in their team including some really impressive Staff Engineers to support you.

As a Data & AI function, they are looking to build out and sell Data Products to match their core Data offering so this role is imperative to their success.

We are looking for:

• Example of management/leadership responsibilities
• Hands on to a point, this will predominantly be a hands off role but you will need to have held a Data Engineering / Data Platform Engineering position
• GCP or AWS
• Kafka
• Terraform
• A background working within fast paced organizations
• Demonstrable examples of being strategic and outcome orientated
