DevOps Engineer (Outside IR35 contract) - Fully remote - 600 - 700/day - GCP, Kubernetes

They are searching for a highly skilled DevOps Engineer on a contract basis to provide critical, hands-on support for our core platform and infrastructure, enabling our rapid pace of innovation.
DevOps Engineer Key Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for providing immediate, high-impact support across their infrastructure and platform engineering needs, specifically focusing on:
- Platform Reliability: Maintenance and troubleshooting of our Continuous Integration (CI) system to ensure improved reliability and automation of existing CI/CD pipelines.
- Automation & Integration: Enhancing and automating deployment pipelines and tackling key systems integration challenges (e.g., Hashicorp Vault , GitLab Runners ).
- Security Posture: Strengthening IAM (Identity and Access Management) systems and processes.
- Technical Debt: Proactively reducing accumulated technical debt and identifying automation gaps for pragmatic implementation of new efficiencies.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborating with existing teams to resolve performance bottlenecks and documenting infrastructure implementations for future continuity.
Skills & Experience Required for the DevOps Engineer:
The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who can quickly adapt to an existing scale-up environment and deliver outcomes under time constraints. You will be expected to have:
- Proven, extensive experience in Infrastructure, DevOps , and Platform Engineering within the Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
- Expert knowledge of Kubernetes , IAM , Hashicorp Vault , and GitLab CI/CD systems.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and automate systems at scale in production environments.
- Familiarity with documentation best practices and configuration management.
- Excellent communication, collaboration skills, and a proven track record of pragmatic problem-solving.
