Our established client is looking for a Contract Lead Data Scientist to lead their Data Science function while staying hands-on with complex, high-impact projects. This is a chance to shape the technical roadmap and deliver real business value.
The Role:
As a Contract Lead Data Scientist , you will:
- Lead & mentor a small Data Science team, providing strategic direction and technical guidance
- Drive the Data Science roadmap while remaining hands-on in a Senior / Principal capacity 🛠️
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and senior leadership to deliver data-driven solutions
- Work on projects across Pricing, Recommendations, and Personalisation (experience preferred but not essential)
- Communicate complex insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong technical skills: Python, SQL, machine learning, statistical modelling
- Proven leadership experience managing teams and influencing stakeholders
- Experience working closely with product and wider technology teams
- Excellent communication skills and strategic thinking
Details:
- Rate: £700-800 per day
