We're partnered with a seed-funded, regulated AI legal tech startup as they build out their Founding Engineering team. They're months from launch and building something with genuine category-defining ambition.
This is a business at a real inflection point. Regulation is being finalised, the product is near-launch ready, and they're now looking for a Senior/Lead Software Engineer to own the security, scalability, and platform architecture of a product that will handle millions of pounds in client funds.
You'll work directly alongside the founding team in a regulated, high-stakes environment where your engineering decisions have a genuine impact on how the end user interacts with the product.
The systems challenge is significant: multiple integrations across telephony, email infrastructure, client portals, and AI agents, all needing to be rock solid from day one.
The founding team brings serious pedigree with multiple exits between them, and the ambition is to build a long-term category winner.
They're pragmatic, fast-moving, and want someone who has seen things go wrong, and knows how to make sure they don't.
Requirements
- An experienced operator, you've seen software built in the right way and enjoy getting your hands dirty building out 0-1 products.
- Experience building customer facing applications
- Happy contributing across the fullstack with experience in Python, TypeScript (Next.JS) and ReactJS
- You enjoy working in a product focussed environment partnering with customers/end users.
