We are partnered with a well-funded scale up in the BioTech sector who are developing software to support autonomous robotics. They are building cutting edge, fully customisable, autonomous technology to support critical workflows, enhancing efficiency, reducing errors and reducing workload.

They are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to be a hands-on contributor in a small, senior team, while also shaping technical direction and influencing decisions. The company moves fast, thinks globally, and is obsessed with building something that lasts.

What will you be doing:

• Own critical parts of the UI and its architecture, ensuring performance, usability, and resilience.
• Bring strong views on frontend patterns, API design, and how the frontend and backend fit together (they currently use Python, REST, GraphQL, microservices).

What They Are Looking For:

• Proven expertise in JavaScript and React, including modern practices and shadcn experience.
• A track record of building products from scratch or pivoting products at speed, ideally in startup/scaleup contexts.
• A mindset for tracking the latest trends and experimenting with new tools to raise the bar.
