Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Senior Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer to join a growing and forward-thinking organisation.

This role is ideal for a skilled developer who enjoys delivering end-to-end ERP solutions across a varied client base, including SMEs and large multi-national organisations. You will play a key role in solution design, development, integration, and technical leadership while ensuring high-quality delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand business processes, requirements, and strategic objectives
• Lead the design, development, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions
• Produce detailed technical design documentation and specifications
• Develop, customise, and extend Business Central using AL extensions
• Build and manage integrations between Business Central and third-party systems using APIs, web services, and connectors
• Ensure adherence to development standards, best practices, and coding governance
• Provide clear communication and progress updates to internal teams and external stakeholders
• Mentor and support junior developers, promoting knowledge sharing and technical growth
• Stay current with Microsoft technologies and emerging developments within the Business Central and Azure ecosystems

Experience & Skills

• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and/or Dynamics 365 Business Central
• Strong commercial experience developing AL extensions
• In-depth knowledge of Business Central configuration, customisation, and integration capabilities
• Solid functional understanding of core Business Central modules
• Experience working on full lifecycle ERP implementations
• Familiarity with Azure Services (desirable)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
