Location: Hybrid (1 day per week in the office as standard, with additional office attendance when required for business needs). Fully remote may be considered for highly experienced candidates.

The Opportunity

An established Microsoft Partner with over 30 years' experience delivering ERP solutions to manufacturers and distributors is looking to appoint an experienced Business Central 2nd Line Support Consultant to join its growing support team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex Business Central issues, working closely with customers, and developing their technical expertise within a collaborative and supportive environment.

The Role

As a Business Central 2nd Line Support Consultant, you'll take ownership of more complex support issues, ensuring customers receive an excellent service while working alongside consultants, developers and the wider support team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve customer support queries via phone, email and customer portal.
  • Investigate, diagnose and resolve complex Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central issues.
  • Escalate and manage technical issues where appropriate.
  • Work closely with the development team to coordinate testing and deployment of software fixes.
  • Manage incidents in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Prioritise workload effectively while maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement initiatives.
About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys analysing problems, delivering excellent customer service and building strong relationships with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Essential Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
  • Experience in a Business Central support, consultancy or key user position.
  • Strong understanding of ERP processes.
  • Previous experience supporting or implementing ERP solutions.
Desirable
  • Finance or accounting systems knowledge.
  • Experience with Business Central integrations.
  • Exposure to APIs, extensions, third-party applications or telemetry tools.
