Assistant Accountant - 12-Month FTC Hybrid or Remote

Location: Oxfordshire (Hybrid or Fully Remote)Hours: 35 per week

What You'll Do

In this hands-on role, you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth financial operations across multiple international entities, focusing on month-end close and accounts receivable processes.

• Your key responsibilities will include:
• Preparing prepayment journals and performing reconciliations for UK and international bank accounts
• Maintaining the fixed asset register and managing credit card transaction reconciliations
• Supporting intercompany recharge calculations and postings
• Reviewing and validating VAT postings for Accounts Payable
• Managing Accounts Receivable - including proactive credit control, allocating incoming payments, and resolving client account queries

What We're Looking For

You'll bring solid experience in a similar finance or assistant accountant role, with strong technical skills and a keen eye for detail.

• Confident working knowledge of the responsibilities listed above
• Experience in an international environment is desirable (but not essential)
• Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as Sage, NetSuite, or SAP
• A proactive, detail-oriented mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic business
