Job Summary
The role seeks a skilled researcher with a background in security or risk control. You will be responsible for analyzing blockchain data, leading forensic investigations into crypto-related crimes (theft, scams, market manipulation), and studying vulnerabilities within blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
Main Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: Analyze blockchain data to identify and flag abnormal cases.
- Forensics & Investigation: Trace and lead forensic investigations into real-world crypto theft, scams, and market manipulation.
- Security Research: Study vulnerabilities and security issues related to blockchain protocols and smart contracts.
- Reporting: Write high-quality industry or academic research reports and papers.
- System Optimization: Collaborate with development teams to improve blockchain data collection and threat identification.
- Incident Response: Partner with internal and external stakeholders to handle accident/incident responses.
Key Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Blockchain Security, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
- Publication Record: A strong track record of publications in top-level industry or academic conferences is highly valued.
- Programming: Proficiency in languages used for blockchain analytics (e.g., SQL, Python, JavaScript).
- Tools: Hands-on experience with blockchain monitoring/forensic tools and analytics platforms.
- Domain Knowledge: Deep understanding of blockchain protocols, smart contracts, consensus mechanisms, and cryptography.
- Soft Skills: Effective communication and strong collaboration abilities.
