Corporate Solicitor - Senior Associate - Corporate M&A
Location: London PQE: 5+ years
Salary: £145,000 - £175,000
A leading international law firm is seeking a Senior Associate to join its London-based Corporate M&A team. In particular, the firm is keen to attract candidates in the TMT space with an interest in developing expertise in the media, gaming and gambling space. Candidates should possess sound experience advising Buyers and Sellers on corporate M&A deals. The work also involves some PE-style growth equity work as well as a small amount of VC work.

Snapshot of the opportunity
The successful candidate will work with two key Partners in the team advising on some of the most exciting media and gaming related deals in the market. Clients include, major betting companies, gaming developers as well as high profile media studios as well as investors and other intermediaries in the market.
- Lead and support on a wide range of cross-border corporate M&A transactions
- Manage teams across the UK and internationally
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Contribute to business development and sector profile-raising initiatives
- Supervise and mentor junior lawyers
- Work closely with specialists across IP, data, regulatory and competition
Candidate requirements
- Minimum 5 years' PQE in corporate M&A
- Strong technical drafting skills and commercial awareness
- Experience or interest in developing TMT sector specialist knowledge including individual sectors such as media and gambling / betting.
- Ability to deliver practical, client-focused advice
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
