We’re looking for an Account Manager to join our sales team, responsible for developing and growing a portfolio of existing Mid-Market customers (up to 2,000 seats), alongside generating some new business. This is a relationship-led, value-driven role, focused on account growth, cross-sell, and long-term partnerships.
You’ll work closely with customers to understand their business challenges and introduce the right solutions from the Bytes portfolio, including:
- Cloud & Microsoft Solutions – helping clients maximise their investment in Azure, Microsoft 365, and modern workplace technologies
- Cybersecurity – protecting organisations with leading security solutions and compliance expertise
- Data & AI – enabling smarter decision-making through data insights and AI-driven automation
- Software Licensing & Managed Services – simplifying complexity and driving efficiency

What you’ll do
- Manage and grow existing accounts: Build trusted relationships, understand customer needs, and expand wallet share
- Develop new business: Identify opportunities within your territory through referrals, upsell, cross-sell, and targeted prospecting
- Solution selling: Work with technical specialists to design tailored solutions across Microsoft, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data & AI, and Managed Services
- Own the account lifecycle: From account planning and renewal management to identifying growth opportunities and closing deals
What we’re looking for
- 2–3 years’ experience in IT sales or account management (VAR, reseller, vendor, or service provider)
- Proven experience managing and growing existing customer accounts
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with CRM tools and a structured approach to pipeline and account management
