Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship

VQ Solutions is looking for a motivated, detail-oriented apprentice Network Cable Engineer to join the team a C-Tech Solutions. You will gain exposure to real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and be part of a company delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across the UK and beyond.

Role

Pulling in, routing, and terminating copper and fibre cabling
Installing containment (trunking, tray, basket, conduit, etc.)
Testing and certifying structured cabling systems
Working on construction and commercial sites as part of an installation team
Following site drawings, plans, and specifications
Ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to industry standards
Liaising with site supervisors and occasionally customers regarding progress or technical issues

You’ll gain exposure to real-world projects, learn industry best practices, and be part of a company delivering high-quality infrastructure solutions across the UK and beyond.

Training

You will work towards an Advanced level Network Cable Installer Apprenticeship delivered by VQ Solutions. You will have a dedicated VQ Mentor, and will also be supported internally by your manager.

During this apprenticeship, you will develop a portfolio, attend training courses, and have monthly reviews. All apprenticeship work will be completed during working hours.

The majority of our apprentices are offered full-time roles upon the successful completion of their apprenticeship.

Training Provider: VQ SOLUTIONS LTD
Working Week: Monday to Friday, shifts to be confirmed. Overtime will be available.
Expected Duration: 1 Year
