JOB TITLE: Machine Learning Engineer

LOCATION: North London

SALARY: £650 p/d PAYE

WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Hybrid | 6-month contract

THE MACHINE LEARNING ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:

• Design, build, and deploy machine learning models into production environments
• Develop and optimise recommendation systems (e.g. personalised product recommendations, ranking, search optimisation)
• Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and product stakeholders to translate business requirements into ML solutions
• Implement and maintain MLOps pipelines to support continuous integration, delivery, and monitoring of models
• Ensure scalability, performance, and reliability of ML systems within Azure cloud infrastructure
• Work with large-scale datasets to extract insights and improve model accuracy
• Monitor model performance and retrain models to maintain effectiveness over time
• Contribute to best practices in ML engineering, deployment, and governance

YOUR KEY SKILLS:

• Strong experience as an ML Engineer in a production environment
• Proven expertise with Azure (e.g. Azure ML, Databricks, Data Factory, Azure DevOps)
• Hands-on experience implementing MLOps frameworks (CI/CD, model versioning, monitoring, automation)
• Demonstrable experience building recommendation systems (collaborative filtering, content-based, hybrid approaches)
• Strong proficiency in Python and common ML libraries (e.g. TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)
• Experience working with large-scale data processing tools (e.g. Spark)
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices
