Senior Content Designer
A leading brand is developing a new immersive homescreen format designed to turn campaigns, edits and trends into shoppable in-app experiences. They are seeking a Senior Content Designer to lead the creative development and systemisation of this new format over an initial 3-month contract.
The ideal candidate will bring strong visual craft, digital product fluency and the ability to deliver high-quality content at speed while helping shape scalable creative foundations.
Role SummaryThe Senior Content Designer will be responsible for translating campaign, editorial and trend-led concepts into immersive, shoppable content that feels native to the app environment. The role spans still and moving imagery, requiring confident layout, typography and motion skills.
A key part of the position involves defining the visual language of the format, creating reusable templates and supporting efficient creative workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Produce weekly immersive homescreen assets across both photo and video.
- Define visual and motion design principles for the new format.
- Build scalable, reusable templates aligned with the brand’s design system.
- Create layouts, typographic systems and motion treatments that combine creativity with commercial clarity.
- Write and refine concise, impactful in-app copy.
- Support process improvements and introduce repeatable production practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Brand and Trade.
- Deliver high-quality, conversion-aware content quickly and consistently.
- 6+ years’ experience in digital product design, content design or branded app experiences.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating in-app storytelling, short-form content or shoppable experiences.
- Excellent visual design skills, especially in typography, hierarchy and layout.
- Confident working with both static and motion/ video assets.
- Solid understanding of design systems and modular design thinking.
- Ability to deliver high volumes of quality work at pace.
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of performance optimisation.
- Highly organised, proactive, and collaborative.
- Experience within ecommerce, fashion or lifestyle brands.
- Motion design capability.
- Background in fast-paced retail or product-led environments.
