About the Role

CACI Ltd is seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager with a strong emphasis on Network Infrastructure and project delivery.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering complex network and network security projects and will ideally hold CCNA or CCNP certification. Experience delivering solutions within Cisco-centric environments is highly desirable, including network design, implementation, and the management of end-to-end design and deployment workstreams covering LAN, WAN, security, and voice technologies.

As a Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for gathering and validating business requirements, defining project scope and deliverables, and leading network and infrastructure projects through their full life cycle. You will ensure projects are delivered in line with agreed plans, schedules, budgets, timescales, and quality standards while producing high-quality project documentation suitable for senior stakeholders and C-level audiences.

You will be expected to assess the impact of proposed network changes and communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Experience with Cisco ACI would be advantageous, although training will be provided. The successful candidate should demonstrate a willingness to learn new technologies, provide technical oversight, manage project risks and issues, and operate effectively within a highly process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage network infrastructure and network security projects from initiation through to completion.
  • Define, manage, and control project scope, deliverables, risks, issues, budgets, and timelines.
  • Work closely with technical teams, customers, and stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Produce and maintain project documentation, reports, and governance materials for senior leadership.
  • Coordinate design, implementation, migration, and transition activities across multiple workstreams.
  • Assess and communicate the impact of network and infrastructure changes.
  • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with established project management methodologies and quality standards.
  • Provide oversight of technical delivery while facilitating effective stakeholder engagement.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills.
  • Proven experience delivering network infrastructure, data centre, and network security projects.
  • Experience leading Data Centre Migration programmes, including planning, transition, cutover, and migration activities.
  • Experience managing Data Centre Exit/Data Centre Consolidation projects.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure technologies and their business impact.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies such as Agile, PRINCE2, or PMP.
  • CCNA and/or CCNP certification (preferred).
  • Experience using Jira for project tracking and management.
  • Ability to create, document, and present proposed technical changes.
  • Experience developing, maintaining, and managing detailed project plans.
  • Strong customer focus with the ability to communicate effectively at all organisational levels.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver to tight deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive approach.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Knowledge of the ITIL framework would be advantageous.
