Automotive Owner Guide Author

A perfect opportunity for enthusiastic, passionate and process driven individuals with excellent IT skills and first-hand experience of automotive publications/documentation, ideally with a background in authoring similar content.

Responsibilities

  • Author an Owner Guide specifically for the vehicle owner:
  • The Owner Guide outlines system use, symbol meanings, essential owner procedures, and includes contact details, technical data, service information, and recovery instructions.
  • Owner Manual - this is the main publication from which the others can be derived, printed and digitally delivered, in all required languages.
  • Service Record - required in some countries without OSH (Online Service History), printed delivery, multiple languages.
  • Vehicle Specific Guide – high performance use, off road use etc.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong communication and customer-facing skills are essential. A tenacious, professional and can-do approach is imperative.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Experience of CAD and CAD visualisation tools are an important part of the role - we do offer training and mentoring in these areas.
  • First class organisational and project management skills; your responsibilities include understanding and implementing the interaction with a vehicle programme’s product development lifecycle.
