IT Technician Apprentice

We are looking for a highly motivated and responsible individual to join our team as an apprentice. The ideal candidate is someone who pays close attention to detail, has a passion for learning, and is committed to building a successful career.

Role

  • Take ownership of and continuously improve specific IT processes, including managing the asset management system
  • Utilize the ticket system to accurately log, manage, document, and resolve IT issues in line with the Service Level Agreement (SLA)
  • Provide support to the IT Manager on various projects and migrations
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues across all levels of the business, from end users to team leaders, managers, and directors
  • Work closely with external partners to resolve software-related issues

QA’s Azure Cloud Support Specialist Level 3 apprenticeship programme enables the apprentice to:

  • Learn technical content that aligns to and is relevant to employers and the market
  • Gain an Azure Fundamentals Qualification and a Microsoft 365 fundamentals qualification
  • Get an introduction to Windows, Linux and PowerShell

Tools and technologies learned: Learners will learn to use Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows 10, AWS, Linux, PowerShell.

Will initially be 8:30am- 5.00pm for the first few weeks during the settling-in period. Hours will transition to the standard pattern of 10am- 7pm (Monday to Thursday) and 8:30am- 2.00pm (Friday) once you have settled into the role.
