You will join a global IT Consultancy who are delivering digital transformation to a public sector body.


We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst (BA) to support the delivery of an important project with legislative change imminent.

The client team are currently made up of only two BA's and need support to accelerate delivery.

We are looking for a Business Analyst (BA) to deliver support and enhancements across:

. Reference Data and Access Management (RDAM)
. Centralised Cross Component Maintenance, Enhancements, Backend (BE) features (CME)

Experience of Agile methodologies is required, including the use of agile tools such as Jira and Confluence, and ensuring effective collaboration between business representatives, user researchers, user experience and service designers and technical team members.
We need our Business Analysts to work collaboratively with our clients. They need to respond to queries from our client, CI squad members and other CI squads, as well as effectively managing incident queues. They need to identify improvements and work on initiatives (e.g., AI) and have a basic understanding of how to connect and analyse data in databases using SQL. They need to have excellent attention to detail, be curious and creative and have excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and conceptual skills. Key Duties

  • Solidifying directly into the client BA team to understand the project goals and priorities.
  • Organisation and leadership of workshops to elicit & prioritise requirements and to define user journeys and produce relevant artefacts required.
  • Building strong client relationships and strong stakeholder management across the project. Joining up relevant streams of work and reporting


Required competencies

Strong client and stakeholder management is required.

  • Requirements Analysis - proven experience of capturing requirements using a variety of tools and methods.
  • Business Analysis - robust understanding of business analysis techniques knowing which to apply in appropriate situation.
  • Business Transformation - experience of delivering digital transformation.
  • Business Process Re-engineering - experience of investigating operational issues and new opportunities and seeking effective business solutions through improvements in automation or new or changed processes/procedures, organisation and equipment.
