We're looking for an experienced Java Developer to join an established engineering team working on a large-scale public sector service.
You'll be part of a busy team with a strong pipeline of work, developing and enhancing critical applications using Java and PL/SQL. The role offers the opportunity to work across both development languages, build knowledge of a complex existing service and potentially become involved in future modernisation activity.
Key Skills
- Strong commercial experience with Java
- Strong PL/SQL and Oracle experience
- Ability to work flexibly across Java and PL/SQL
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to learn quickly and understand complex systems
- Strong communication and team-working skills
- BPSS clearance
Desirable
- Previous CESA / Self Assessment experience
- SC clearance
- COBOL experience
- Experience working within large-scale public sector or enterprise environments
- Agile development experience
