Location: Belfast - estimated one day per week while onboarding moving to largely remote

You will join a global IT Consultancy delivering digital transformation to a public sector body. As a Senior Salesforce Developer, you'll be instrumental in shaping innovative Salesforce solution. This opportunity offers a flexible hybrid working model, enabling you to work remotely across the UK with occasional travel to client sites in Belfast-primarily in the first month for onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable Salesforce solutions aligned with client needs, adhering to best practices and quality standards.
  • Collaborate closely with clients to gather detailed requirements, define technical solutions, and support successful deployment and user adoption.
  • Lead Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives, utilizing tools such as Jira.
  • Manage client relationships with professionalism, ensuring clear communication and delivering value-driven outcomes.
  • Support and mentor junior team members, fostering technical growth and knowledge sharing.
  • Participate in code reviews, enforce development standards, and pursue continuous improvements in development processes.
  • Integrate Salesforce with other systems using APIs and DevOps best practices to support seamless operations.

Your skills and experience:

  • 5+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience.
  • Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Salesforce configuration.
  • Strong understanding of Salesforce data model, platform architecture, and integration capabilities.
  • Proven experience working within Agile methodologies and tools such as Jira.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to translate complex business requirements into effective technical solutions.
  • A coaching mindset with enthusiasm for mentoring and team development.

Desirable:

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Salesforce Administrator, App Builder).
  • Experience in a client-facing IT consulting environment.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, API integrations, and Salesforce DevOps practices.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
