Senior Network Engineer - NSX - DefenceContract - 6 Months - fully onsiteBased in Yeovil (3-5 days) compressed hours availableDV Clearance is required for this roleRecruiting for an experienced Senior Network Engineer to join a leading organisation delivering secure, mission-critical technology solutions within the UK defence sector.This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design, implement and support VMware NSX-T and software-defined networking solutions across highly secure environments, while providing technical leadership to project teams.Experience includes:* Strong experience with VMware NSX-T (or equivalent network virtualisation platforms)* Expertise in TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, VPNs, VLANs, QoS and Cisco networking* Experience with software-defined networking, micro-segmentation and secure networkarchitectures* Knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, network monitoring and virtualised environments* Previous experience delivering within secure, enterprise or defence environments* Ability to mentor engineers and own technical deliveryIt would be an added advantage if you had any of the following:* VMware NSX certification* VCF, vSphere or vSAN experience* Automation (Ansible, Terraform, APIs)* AWS/Azure networkingPlease apply for immediate interview!CBSbutler is operating and advertising as an Employment Agency for permanent positions and as an Employment Business for interim / contract / temporary positions.
