Cisco Unified Communications EngineerOnsite in Stevenage, Hertfordshire 800 per day inside ir35 Active SC clearance essential - MOD SC preferredWe are looking for an experienced Cisco Collaboration Engineer to join a secure, high-profile technical environment in Stevenage, supporting Cisco telephony, unified communications and videoconferencing services. This is a long-term contract through to December 2027, offering the opportunity to work on both project delivery and complex operational issues within a technically demanding environment. The RoleYou will be responsible for: Delivering and supporting Cisco Telephony & Videoconferencing projectsProviding specialist support to L1/L2 teams on complex technical incidentsLeading major incident resolution, including RCA and action planningSupporting problem management and continual service improvementTroubleshooting Cisco UC, voice and video environmentsProducing and maintaining HLD, LLD and technical documentationPerforming hardware and configuration testingProviding knowledge transfer to engineers and technical teamsWorking closely with technical leads, SDMs and customer stakeholdersKey Technical ExperienceWe're looking for strong Cisco collaboration experience, including:5+ years' Cisco experienceCisco CUCM v12.5Cisco Unity ConnectionCisco JabberCisco IP PhonesCisco Meeting Server (CMS)Cisco videoconferencing endpointsCisco TMSSIP / H.323VMware v7/v8Experience with Kurmi, Telisca, Prognosis, PeterConnects, real-time monitoring tools, WAN/LAN networking or network security would be advantageous.
Security Requirements - EssentialDue to the nature of the environment: Active UK SC clearance is essentialSole UK national onlyCandidates must have spent no more than 28 days outside the UK during the last 5 yearsMOD SC clearance is preferred100% onsite in Stevenage is requiredMust be able to work PAYE through an Umbrella companyThe PersonWe're looking for someone who is technically strong, methodical and comfortable working on complex incidents and projects. You should have excellent communication skills, a strong customer-service mindset and the ability to work effectively as part of a wider technical team.
