Regulatory Compliance Manager

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Compliance Manager (UK) for a 6 month contract working for a multi national fintech business, on a remote working basis.

You will take full ownership of governance and regulatory reporting within a dynamic, regulated fintech business.

This is a high-impact role within the second line of defence, with ownership of UK entity compliance oversight and reporting.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading the UK Risk & Compliance Committee (agenda, materials, actions)

• Own regulatory reporting & notifications (incl. complaints, fraud, incidents, returns)

• Design and deliver a robust, risk-based compliance monitoring programme

• Oversee governance frameworks, MI, and escalation pathways

• Provide independent challenge to the first line and support remediation efforts

• Advise on UK regulatory requirements (FCA Handbook etc)

• Deliver clear reporting to senior stakeholders and present at governance forums

About you:

• You will have ideally worked in the payments sector.
• You will be an experienced compliance professional within UK regulated financial services and you will have a strong working knowledge of the UK regulatory framework.
• You will have proven experience running committees and setting up and operating compliance monitoring and testing programmes.
• Strong knowledge of FCA requirements and regulatory reporting is essential.
• Ability to design monitoring frameworks and drive continuous improvement
• Use of AI - ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity
