This is an onsite role working Monday to Friday (8:45am - 5:30pm), plus one in four Saturdays (10am - 2pm). The office is situated in central Manchester, a short walk from Manchester Victoria Station. Experience working in a similar industry is desirable, however, if you are an extremely ambitious and exceptionally motivated Sales Manager, we'd love to hear from you. Are you an energetic Sales Manager who leads by example in fast paced, ever changing environments Can you demonstrate an excellent track record of consistently leading teams to deliver sales targets while maintaining high quality customer service? As a Telesales Manager you will display a compelling 'can-do' attitude. Through this approach, you will mentor, motivate and inspire a diverse UK sales team to ensure the business's ongoing success. By continually developing the sales team, they will expand their knowledge of their business area and consistently hit targets and deliver exceptional customer service. The successful Sales Manager will:
  • Thrive to deliver all company targets set by the business.
  • Provide the Head of Sales with performance updates highlighting any challenges you are facing along with solutions in mind.
  • From a Training & Competence perspective, ensure that all team's competent agent/advisor status is within the business threshold.
  • Work closely with training managers to ensure the development needs of all sales staff are being met and coaching is targeted on the correct development areas.
  • Feedback on all QA calls within timeframe and deal with any queries in line with business processes.
  • Deliver structured sales meetings to your team ensuring all points are discussed and understood.
  • Deliver monthly performance reviews to sales team members ensuring all evidence is recorded as per business process.
  • Build strong relationships with the wider sales management team sharing ideas and best practice.
  • Hold difficult conversations with your team when needed, this could be around performance, conduct or any other matters which may come up.
  • When needed, take guidance from others in handling complex employee relations scenarios.
 Desired Skills and Attributes:
  • Must have at least 3 years' experience in a senior management position leading a sales team to targets.
  • An exceptional people manager, with a track record of delivering sales targets and KPIs through high-performing teams.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing individual and team performance.
  • Excellent communication and awareness skills - effective coaching skills; the ability to build relationships and can motivate staff to drive performance.
  • Uses statistical analysis to implement long-term and short-term strategies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret MI and deliver Action Plans.
  • Good understanding of Inbound and Outbound telephony/dialler systems.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Expert user of salesforce & Microsoft packages.
