Finance Apprentice (Celestra Limited)

Duties and Responsibilities
- Raising purchase orders on the Celestra in-house management system
- Data entry using our Xero accounting system including maintaining a sales & purchase ledger
- Involvement in the setup of customer invoices and credit notes
- Learning about the processing of employee expenses & reconciling supplier statements
- Reviewing new and existing suppliers
- Raising and preparing sales invoices and statements, credit control, supplier & internal account reconciliations & preparing payroll, expense claims
- General office support, such as answering the telephone, meet and greet customers, photocopying and scanning paperwork and filing
- Extensive use of Excel, at advanced level
- Communicate with project teams, account managers and electrical supervisor to ensure that paperwork has been complete promptly and accurately
- Other ad-hoc duties as directed by the finance team
- To support with ad-hoc projects as instructed by the finance manager
Training
BPP apprenticeship training programmes are delivered virtually by our fully qualified and industry-experienced training team. Using their expert knowledge, we’ve purposefully built our programmes around the real-world use of modern technology, so that the skills we create can be directly applied in the workplace.
Throughout the apprenticeship learners receive coaching, help and guidance from a dedicated team who are there to ensure they get the most from their work experience.
The potential to go on to do further study and move onto a permanent contract if the apprenticeship framework is completed in full.
