AWS Cloud Security Engineer – Security Hub & Terraform

We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Security Engineer to support a high-priority programme of cloud security remediation and service improvement.

This is a hands-on role requiring strong AWS security knowledge, practical AWS Security Hub experience and expert-level Terraform capability.

Key responsibilities

• Review and remediate security findings across AWS.
• Configure and improve AWS Security Hub.
• Implement security improvements through Terraform.
• Support service recovery and controlled reinstatement activities.
• Assist with secret and credential rotation.
• Review and cleanse repositories where required.
• Strengthen AWS security controls and prevent recurring issues.
• Work with internal teams and relevant external parties.
• Document completed remediation and technical changes.

Essential experience

• Strong hands-on AWS engineering and security experience.
• Practical AWS Security Hub expertise.
• Expert Terraform and infrastructure-as-code capability.
• Experience implementing security remediation in live environments.
• Strong knowledge of AWS identity, access and security controls.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.

Experience supporting service recovery, secrets management or repository security would be beneficial but is not essential.

This is a fully remote opportunity for an engineer capable of quickly understanding an AWS environment and implementing secure, sustainable improvements through Terraform.
