Main duties of the job

The Senior UX/UI Developer accountable for designing and optimising the user experience and interface for the companys digital platforms, including our core Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system, Patient App, and future patient systems/applications. We are looking for someone who will focus on enhancing user interaction and visual design across these platforms to ensure an intuitive and aesthetically pleasing user journey that aligns with our healthcare services' efficiency and accessibility. The successful candidate will thrive in a busy, fast-paced working environment.

Job responsibilities

Craft intuitive and engaging user interfaces for the core Electronic Patient Record (EPR) system and the Patient App. Design and build any new required patient systems or applications. Conduct user research and gather insights. Utilise design principles and user feedback to continuously improve the visual and interactive aspects of our platforms. Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new features and improvements. Apply and evolve the design system to ensure consistency and efficiency in our product development processes. Apply UX principles to refine and optimise the user journey across our digital platforms. Use user testing and feedback to validate and iterate on design solutions. Work closely with developers, product managers, and clinical colleagues to implement design solutions that are technically feasible and meet clinical needs. Share UX/UI expertise within the team, including promoting best practices in design and development. Work with front-end developers to ensure accurate translation of visual concepts into functional and high-performing code.

Essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Demonstrated ability in UX tools
  • Familiarity with front-end frameworks
  • Experience with user research methodologies and the ability to translate user insights into design decisions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
