ICT Apprenticeship
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an ICT Apprentice. This apprenticeship offers a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop a wide range of skills in the field of Information and Communication Technology (ICT).
Role
Technical Knowledge and Skills Development:
- Investigate and understand various IT legislations
- Learn and explain the principles of system backup and storage
- Understand and describe the elements of technical documentation and its importance in escalation
- Apply root cause problem-solving techniques using diagnostic tools
- Understand basic network addressing principles
- Learn about cloud services and their key principles
- Analyse network fundamentals and components
Customer and Stakeholder Interaction:
- Interpret and prioritise customer requirements in line with organisational policies
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, using appropriate technical or non-technical language
- Describe different types of maintenance and preventative measures
- Operate safely and securely across platforms, applying key security principles
- Manage and prioritise workload effectively
- Demonstrate professionalism and independent initiative
- Take a productive and organised approach to work
- Show self-motivation and effective time management
