ICT Apprentice
Citizens Advice SORT Group is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic ICT Apprentice to join our team and develop valuable skills in IT support and digital services. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for technology who is eager to learn while gaining hands-on experience in a supportive environment.
Role
- Providing first-line IT support to staff by resolving hardware and software issues
- Setting up, maintaining and troubleshooting computers, laptops, printers and mobile devices
- Installing and updating software, operating systems and security patches
- Assisting with user account management, passwords and access permissions
- Supporting the maintenance of networks, servers and other IT infrastructure
- Logging and tracking support requests using an IT helpdesk system
- Helping to maintain IT equipment and keeping accurate asset records
- Assisting with data backups and following cybersecurity best practices
- Supporting colleagues with Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams and SharePoint
Training
Information Communications Technician Level 3.
Your earnings can increase over time with an apprenticeship.
Successful completion of the apprenticeship may lead to a permanent full-time role, subject to performance and business needs.
