Sales Development Representative
Salary £40K - £55K plus commission - Hybrid working 3 days a week in office
Are you a phone-first, outbound sales professional who thrives on creating demand rather than chasing leads?
We are working on an exclusive basis with a c.30-person FinTech / RegTech SaaS business that is experiencing strong recurring revenue growth following recent investment. As part of their next growth phase, they are hiring a Sales Development Representative to strengthen new business generation and build long-term pipeline. This role has been created to capitalise on a receptive market, low competitive saturation, and a clear opportunity to scale revenue across a defined global niche.
The role is focused on outbound engagement with senior decision-makers across trust companies, corporate service providers, and family offices operating in complex regulatory environments. You will be responsible for opening high-quality sales conversations, uncovering workflow challenges, and generating qualified opportunities for the wider sales team. Over time, there is scope to take ownership of lower-value opportunities end-to-end as capability and confidence grow. Success is measured through pipeline creation, opportunity quality, and contribution to sustainable revenue growth.
This opportunity will suit someone with 2–4 years’ experience in outbound B2B sales, ideally within SaaS, technology, or professional services. You will be confident engaging decision-makers by phone, comfortable working to KPIs, and skilled at asking commercially intelligent questions. Strong written communication, CRM discipline, and resilience are essential, as is a genuine interest in business problems rather than technical detail. A track record of consistent activity and results will matter more than sector background.
The company offers a collaborative, performance-led culture where high performers are recognised and developed. There is a clear progression pathway into a closing sales role based on merit and results rather than tenure. The role offers a base salary of £40,000–£55,000 plus bonus, with hybrid working requiring three days per week onsite in a rural Thames Valley office with free parking and on-site facilities.
