About the Role
We’re looking for an Test Analyst to join a major public sector programme in Dublin. You will be responsible for executing prepared test scripts, analysing results, logging defects, and providing detailed reports to support the delivery of high-quality digital services.
This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of on-site and remote working, with up to 3 days per week in the Dublin office when needed.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute prepared test scripts to assess performance and compatibility of applications.
- Record and analyse test results, maintaining a detailed defect register.
- Review results, modify tests where necessary, and escalate anomalies or risks.
- Provide progress reports to stakeholders and contribute to project risk assessments.
- Translate test outcomes into user instruction documentation.
Skills & Experience Required
Essential:
- Intermediate-level experience in software testing.
- Industry-recognised testing or QA qualification (ISTQB, ISEB, or equivalent).
- Proven experience in quality assurance of digital software and services (manual, functional, regression, user acceptance testing, etc.).
- Experience in testing at scale.
Desirable:
- Familiarity with security practices and ISO 27001 compliance.
- Experience working in public sector projects.
