Data Science Apprentice
At Colorifix data drives our mission to create sustainable biological dyes for the textile industry. We are seeking a Data Science Apprentice to help the team with data organisation, analysis, and bioinformatics to help answer critical business questions. Role
- Being a valued member of the Informatics team by providing feedback on data and project specific tasks
- Helping the R&D teams making sense of the data they produce using statistics
- Building data products to serve the company’s data needs
- Collaborate on improving data quality and documentation for various stakeholders in the wider company
Training
- BSc (Hons) Data Science via Data scientist (integrated degree) Level 6 apprenticeship standard, including Functional Skills in English and maths if required
- This apprenticeship is delivered via ‘Blended Learning’ which is a combination of online distancelearning and in-person teaching and learning. The in-person teaching is delivered in ‘blocks’ on ARU's Cambridge campus.
The apprentice will be positioned for a career as a Data Scientist or Analyst at Colorifix. As the data team evolves, this role could grow into technical specialisation (e.g. data analytics, data engineering, machine learning) or operational leadership within digital services and analytics.
