Project Management Apprenticeship

You’ll join the Group Information Services (GIS) Delivery team, supporting the delivery of projects across Computacenter and GIS worldwide.
Role
You’ll work towards your Project Management Level 4 (Associate Project Manager) qualification while gaining real world experience. Around 80% of your time will be spent on the job, with 20% dedicated to learning.
Here’s what you’ll get involved in:
- Supporting Project Managers with planning and monitoring projects to ensure milestones and deadlines are met
Creating and maintaining project documentation, plans, and reports - Liaising with internal teams to assign tasks and support schedule management
- Monitoring project risks, opportunities, working hours, and expenditure
- Supporting issue management by helping identify problems and take appropriate corrective actions
- Acting as a key point of contact for project stakeholders and sharing relevant communications
- Assisting with project financial management, including forecasting, monitoring, and tracking costs
- Supporting quality assurance activities to ensure standards and requirements are met
- Supporting the Portfolio Management team with organising and running project portfolios
- Progressing to opportunities to lead workstreams and smaller initiatives
Training
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
