Software Developer Apprentice

You will be part of the Enterprise Integration team which is the function responsible for the delivery of all group integration solutions. We deliver, maintain and support integration solutions across all our operating countries. Our goal is to deliver professional integrations that maximise efficiencies and minimise costs.

Role

You will be responsible for the implementation of and support integration solutions, where your time will be split between the implementation of integrations, providing support after implementation, and dealing with customer management. You can expect responsible challenges with a lot of room for your own initiative. Other responsibilities include:

  • You will advise internal customers on the design and further development of processes in the Integration environment.
  • Support and functionally develop integrations either at a country or global level.
  • Quickly process and apply new technical information as required.
    Analyse, optimize, design existing and new integrations in business-to-business solutions.
  • Establishes ongoing working relationships with various customers.
  • Learn and work to various standards: Industry, Computacenter & customer ones.
  • Managing many different connectivity methods and security practices.
  • Takes care of service requests.
  • Documents requests for improvements, communicates requests to development teams.
  • Plans and develops tests and carries them out. Eliminates errors and performs tests again to achieve an error-free result.
  • You will carry out third line support activities and configuration requests.
  • If you are interested and are suitable, you will take responsibility for (partial) projects. You will receive individual training and coaching from experienced colleagues and will be supported in your personal development.

Training

  • You will gain a Software Developer Level 4 apprenticeship qualification.
  • Delivered via In-person Residential workshops which are block release, self study and support via your Learning Mentors. 
  • After the apprenticeship there is potential for a full time permanent contract.
