Senior ITAD Technician / Team Leader

Location: Boston, Lincolnshire

Salary: £34K +

Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (42.5hrs)

Our client, a well-established and growing technology refurbishment business, is seeking an experienced Senior ITAD Technician / Team Leader to support and oversee its IT Asset Disposition (ITAD) and Device Refurbishment operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of ITAD and refurbishment technicians
• Oversee secure data wiping, refurbishment, and disposal of IT assets
• Ensure compliance with data security, environmental, and health & safety standards
• Monitor productivity, workflow, and quality control
• Train and mentor team members
• Maintain accurate asset tracking and reporting
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the department

Requirements

• Experience within ITAD, IT hardware processing, device refurbishment, or a similar environment
• Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
• Knowledge of data sanitisation standards such as Blancco, ADISA, or equivalent
• Good understanding of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, servers, and networking equipment
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

Desirable

• Experience within a refurbishment or production environment
• Relevant IT or data security certifications
• Inventory management system experience
• Knowledge of e-waste and environmental regulations
