Telecoms Installation & Maintenance Engineer

Covering South of UK and based from Southampton (1 day a week maximum).

We are looking for an Installation & Maintenance Engineer to install, configure and support hosted telephony (VoIP) systems. The role is field-based with UK travel (mainly South), ensuring high-quality delivery and customer satisfaction.

• Install, configure and maintain hosted telephony/VoIP systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve faults on-site and remotely.
• Carry out network checks and advise on telephony requirements.
• Work with project teams to deliver installations on time.
• Provide training and handover to end users.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.

• Experience with hosted telephony or VoIP systems.
• Good knowledge of SIP, LAN/WAN, firewalls and networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
• Full UK driving licence.

• Certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network+, CCNA, vendor-specific).
• Experience with Teams Phone System integration.
• Knowledge of SIP trunking and unified communications.
