Role: Platform/DevOps Engineer
Location: Hybrid - once a month in the office (Cardiff)
Salary: Up to £55,000
Contract: 12-month Fixed Term Contract (FTC)
CPS Group are supporting a client in the financial services industry who are seeking a Platform/DevOps Engineer to join their team. This role offers the chance to drive modern software delivery through automation, cloud adoption, and DevOps best practice.
The Role:
* Design and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes
* Automate infrastructure and development environments
* Provide scalable, reusable platform solutions to support delivery teams
* Embed DevOps practices that drive speed, security, and reliability
* Promote continuous improvement and modern engineering approaches
Experience:
* Previous experience in a Platform/ DevOps Engineering role
* Strong experience with DevOps principles and software delivery automation
* Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code, scripting, and modern hosting models
* Familiarity with containers and cloud technologies
* A problem-solving mindset with the ability to simplify complexity
* Excellent collaboration and communication skills
Skill:
* Azure DevOps
* Infrastructure Automation (Terraform)
* Building CI/CD pipelines
* Infrastructure as Code (IAC)
* Docker/ Kubernetes (Desirable)
* Agile principles
