Senior Infrastructure Engineer

CRC Evans are looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their team in Burnley. This hybrid position will be responsible for maintaining operational stability, reducing third-party reliance, and ensuring strategic control over their core infrastructure.

Role specific responsibilities:

• Comfortable operating in 24/7 environments with production-level responsibilities and high uptime expectations.

• Focusing on Azure, Azure VMs, network and Wi-Fi management.

• Willingness and ability to contribute to a shared on-call rotation.

• Provide support and mentor 1st line.

• "Can Do" attitude

Skills & Knowledge Required:

• Strong Generalist - 3rd line engineer

• Strong experience in managing Azure environments (e.g. Entra, Intune, Exchange, Virtual Servers) • Strong experience with Microsoft 365

• Strong expertise in Active Directory policies

• Good understanding of networking

• Skilled in diagnosing and resolving infrastructure issues across cloud, system, and application layers.

• Experience with Meraki, Barracuda, Cloud Adoption Framework, and PowerShell
