Game Mathematician

Job Description

We are working with a leading global provider of iGaming content, who is seeking a passionate Game Mathematician to join their team. This full-time role offers the opportunity to join their experienced and agile games team. You’ll be part of a small, highly collaborative group responsible for designing the core math that powers engaging and successful gambling titles, from concept through to launch.
  
Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with Senior Game Producers to define game mathematics and statistical specifications
• Developing efficient game models and running simulations to refine game performance
• Creating detailed PAR sheets in Excel to be used by developers and external testing partners
• Supporting on-time delivery of products by understanding commercial and logistical timelines
• Working within an agile (but not over-complicated) development process

  
Qualifications

• Strong analytical and mathematical thinking
• Keen interest in gambling games and an understanding of what makes them tick
• Comfortable working independently or collaboratively
• Will consider a range of experience levels from entry to mid-level
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A positive, solutions-focused attitude
• Enjoys working in a tight-knit, motivated team

Good to have:

• Previous experience in a game development or gambling company
• Proficiency with Excel, including creating models or statistical analysis
• Familiarity with slot games or other gambling products
