Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer

Shift: 3-shift rotation - 2 weeks earlies, 2 weeks nights, 2 weeks lates

I'm currently recruiting for an Electrical Bias Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Peterborough.
This is a hands-on maintenance role where you'll be responsible for keeping production machinery and equipment running reliably, carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance and helping minimise downtime across the site.
The Role
Carry out planned and reactive maintenance across production machinery
Diagnose and repair electrical and mechanical faults
Troubleshoot PLCs, sensors, motors, drives and control systems
Complete preventative maintenance to reduce breakdowns
Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime
Work closely with production and engineering teams
Support continuous improvement and reliability projects
Ensure all maintenance work is completed safely and to site standards
About You
Electrical bias maintenance background
Ideally Level 3 Electrical / Engineering qualification
Previous experience working within FMCG, food, packaging or a similar high-volume manufacturing environment
Strong fault-finding ability
Comfortable working on both electrical and mechanical equipment
Experience with PLCs, sensors, motors, inverters/drives etc.
Happy working a rotating 3-shift pattern
