Service Engineer
This position gives the right candidate the opportunity to work in the UK and worldwide on inspiring customer projects with state-of-the-art products and technology.
Key Accountabilities
- Commission, repair and carry-out preventative maintenance on all models of our clients induction equipment
- Support the use of our clients rental equipment at customer locations
- Continual learning and development on our clients systems providing knowledge to project teams, sales teams, and customers.
Requirements:
- Has a higher academic qualification in electronic/electrical engineering
- Completed vocational training in an engineering discipline
- Will provide onsite support in power stations, foundry and factory environments, and on offshore installations
- Full UK Driving License
- Based in the UK service workshop (Mon-Fri, (Apply online only))
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Essential Professional Experience:
- Experience working in a service role in industrial working environments
- Capability to work both individually and as part of a dedicated team
- Awareness of semiconductor components and their characteristics
- Proficiency in component level electronics repair and mechanical assembly/disassembly
- Knowledge of technical terminology
- Has practical experience of 230V and 415V mains voltage equipment
- Is computer literate as part of daily working tasks
